competition seeing it as an excellent data-mining opportunity. A Beta BookUrLook application was created using 10 high-end salons throughout New York City. I worked closely with salon
owners and the third party agency GramercyOne to build an application that met the needs of both the salons clients and management. The app leverages unique functionality such as stylists portfolio galleries and salon Yelp reviews as well as a couponing system that lets Facebook friends give each other insider deals. Friends can also see and comment on your salon dates, stylist reviews and post-salon photos. BookUrLook was launched with a rooftop party attended by luminaries throughout the salon and fashion world.
