The Grove cafe in San Francisco embraces the local cafe ethos in its food, decor (reclaimed wood and hanging artifacts) and staff demeanor. To champion that ethos and distinguish the Grove I created branding materials that communicate a rustic, easy-going tone. The use of Kraft paper for business cards, menus and store signage integrates fluidly with the interior of the cafe. And the library of iconic symbols used throughout the materials integrates a hand crafted aesthetic which represents the store as the authentic neighborhood café it is known to be.
